Hall is a MUST of every visit to Tyrol. Discover one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Austria, one of the largest preserved historical old towns.

 

In the year 1303 Hall received the municipal law, a total of 10 million tonnes of salt were mined. Through the white gold and the inland naviation, Hall became the hub of medieval trade in young Europe.

 

In the fifteenth century, the state-owned mint facility was relocated to Hall and the first Taler was coined.
